For more than 6 months, we have been living together all over the planet with quarantines, which have led governments to make hard decisions in economic matters. For the moment, we must wait for the miracle of the „vaccine“ and live together in this volatile world.
If you follow the news of the world daily you will realize that in these months of confinement, governments need a „compass“ because they really do not know what to do. They open and close Bitcoin System areas and cities, waiting to see what happens.
In today’s reflection the idea is to ask ourselves if this volatile scenario is here to stay, or is it just until the saving „vaccine“ appears.
Wild speculation about a possible Coronavirus vaccine
We are in a volatile world
It is important to understand that we are in a scenario of high volatility in the world, where everything can happen in just 24 hours. It is very complicated to be able to project into the future with the social and economic uncertainty we are experiencing.
The main powers in the world have double-digit unemployment rates, as is the case of the United States, which is around 13%. It is going to take a long time for all those workers to get back on board, and keep the wheel turning.
The other serious, very serious problem, which we will see in the coming weeks and months, is the strong impression of money that they have made to governments to subsidize all the people who have not been able to work this time. All that money is circulating and is going to generate sooner rather than later strong pressure on prices, that is inflation.
A clear example of volatility
I could make several posts with examples of volatility we are exposed to, but I chose the most recent one, because it is so graphic: The volatility of Amazon stocks…
Between last Friday afternoon after the markets closed and 1 pm Tuesday, Jeff Bezos‘ net worth fell by $8 billion, according to Forbes.
At press time, one Amazon share is trading at $2,961, after hitting an all-time high of $3,200 last week. Market capitalization is as high as $1.47 trillion.
This example clearly shows how everything can change in a matter of hours or days, and this is not just due to wild speculation on Wall Street, but rather to the new volatile world we are facing.
I personally believe that this new world scenario is here to stay, beyond the „save us all“ vaccine. Are you ready for this volatile world? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box.
